Antibiotic Drops — a detailed guide to composition, benefits, and use.
Moxifloxacin 0.5% fourth-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic for broad-spectrum treatment of ocular bacterial infections.
Ocugram Eye Drop contains Moxifloxacin 0.5% w/v, a fourth-generation fluoroquinolone antibiotic with an expanded spectrum of activity covering gram-positive, gram-negative, and anaerobic ocular pathogens. Moxifloxacin achieves high corneal tissue concentrations with topical application and demonstrates superior bactericidal activity against resistant strains compared to earlier-generation fluoroquinolones. Its enhanced affinity for both DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV dual-target mechanism minimizes the development of bacterial resistance during treatment courses.
