Inflasight Eye Drop contains Nepafenac 0.1% w/v, a topical non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) with unique prodrug characteristics that enable deep intraocular penetration. Upon corneal absorption, Nepafenac is rapidly converted to its active metabolite Amfenac, which potently inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis at the site of ocular inflammation.
